Dania is the oldest city in Broward County. Dania dates back to
the 1880s, when much of the FEC railroad was laid in the area.

on the northern end of the Dania Beach Waterfront and is an angler's
haven for residents and visitors. A public fishing pier, visitors
of all ages are welcome.
Dania hosts one of the few Jail Lai centers around. The "World's
fastest ball game offers non-stop action, and a new Poker Room, Cigar
Room and Simulcast Betting make this is an exciting place to visit.
