Southwest Ranches, located in Southwest Broward County, covers about 13
square miles and is home to over 7,200 residents. With its rural
environment, zoning in the town is almost entirely rural residential and

Council Members have pledged to "preserve our rural lifestyle," which
includes donkeys braying, roosters crowing, and no sidewalks.
